Realm Status (1.1.0.7)

Change Log:
--------------------
-Version 1.1.0.7: No changes to US and EU in this release. Added alt sound method to Korean version. This alternate method will attempt to launch the .wav file directly if for some reason unable to play the sound the normal way. Also fixed strange popup glitch caused by a script on the korean website. As a result of setting the source to fix this issue the scroll bar is going to reset position every minute.

-Version 1.1.0.6: Sorry guys I meant to say Sunday instead of Saturday. I don't know why I typed Saturday so sorry im late. Here is the Europe version with the E-mail and status updates.

-Version 1.1.0.5: Europe version gets a make over. I am just parsing the html code from the europe site then loading that new source into Realm Status. Since I am setting the source the scroll bar is going to reset position every minute. If this is annoying to you then leave a comment and I will try to figure something out. I plan to implement the e-mail notification and status text box on Saturday for the europe version.

-Version 1.1.0.4: Korean version added by request. This korean version also has the email alerts and text box for status updates. Korean version checks every minute instead of 30 seconds (just like the EU version). I did this because the korean monitor website refreshes every 1 minute automatically.

-Version 1.1.0.3: Email alerts for US Realm Status. You can either use SMTP (currently only works with SMTP that support SSL) or an alternate Outlook method that creates an email and shoves it into your outgoing folder. Works fine in Outlook 2007 though the outgoing email seems to stay in that folder even after its sent so you have to deleted it manually later on. Currently Email information is not saved when you close US Realm Status. Im just releasing this version for testing purposes. Also a new text box has been added to the right of the email settings that Realm Status uses to provide error messages or statu...

Description:
--------------------

*** ATTENTION: It is important that you report bugs as you find them. Failure to do so will result in a buggy application specially in the european/korean versions that I do not personally use. I'm sure all of you assumed someone would report the europe version playing the alert file over and over but guess again! ***

-----------------------------------------------------------

I wanted a working realm status monitor that plays a sound that will get my attention when the realm goes online or offline. So here is a beta version of my quickly thrown together realm monitor. The application loads the list of realms from "realms.txt" so if blizzard adds anymore servers you can just add the server name to the .txt file and it will work in Realm Status.

This application will check the server status url every 30 seconds. If the source code of the status website changes then it will refresh the website display (save you and blizzard a tiny bit of bandwidth). It then checks the realm you put in the box to see if the status site says its up or not.

Please note that checking the "Alt Method" check box will still not send out e-mail notifications unless you have the "Send Email Alert" box checked as well.

This application is written in C#. I have no professional experience programming I simply create tools that are useful to me to help gain experience. All of my programming knowledge is just from reading books and websites. As I continue to learn I hope to create a much better realm monitor without requiring additional cpu usage.

Requires .net framework 3.5

Future Plans:

- Find a way to make a nicer appearance but at the same time still allow users to add realms and maintain equal or better performance.

- Combine the applications into one .exe file.

In Testing:

- Implement the ability to send email alerts out notifying the user that his server has come up (specially useful for addresses that...

Broker_Everything (0.0.4)

Change Log:
--------------------
version 0.0.4:
- added labels (disabled by default. toggle with /be labels).

version 0.0.3:
- slash command to enable/disable data feeds.

version 0.0.2:
- bags wasn't counting the backpack for total and free slots. oops.

version 0.0.1:
- first release.

Description:
--------------------
This is an AddOn with many Broker data displays. All displays feature tooltips and mouse click handlers (well, except for fps and latency). You will need a Broker Display!

Included data feeds:

zone text
durability
mail
calendar
bags
dual-spec
tracking
XP
gold
clock
location (coordinates)
FPS
latency
addon memory usage
friends
guild

If you don't want to see a data feed, configure your broker display to not show them or disable them with /be
. Use /be list to get a list of names and to see which data feeds are enabled or disabled. With /be labels labels on the data feeds can be toggled. Note: if starting the commands with /be does not work for you, use /broker_everything.

If you find any bugs or think something 'essential' (like as essential as a clock) is missing, please leave a comment.

I know there is some debate on the ideal rotation based on gearing at EJ. I'm open to tweaking this one or making a secondary module that covers another rotation/gearing. Please suggest new features in the comments!
Description:
--------------------
What is Faceroller?

Faceroller is an addon in the spirit of Event Horizon with the look of Faceshooter. It's focus lies on using a minimal amount of screen space while showing anything you need to know at the moment.

It will show you only one icon on the screen: the highest priority ability, which should be used next. Once the ability was used, it will reevaluate all cooldowns and debuffs on your target and present you the next spell.

As this needs tracking of cooldowns and debuffs and making decisions what to suggest when, Faceroller is split into modules. And to get some use out of Faceroller, you will need a module that fits your talent spec (See below for a list of modules).

What Faceroller is NOT

First and foremost, Faceroller is not all knowing. It only keeps track of your current target and therefore can assist you only with a single target.

How to use Faceroller

First, you will need a module that works with your spec. There are currently modules available for the following specs:

Arms Warrior
Shadow Priest
Balance Druid
Frost Deathknight (included, experimental*, by hectolight)
Paladin:

Retribution
Prot (included, experimental*, by lloydbates)

Warlock:

Destruction
BindPad - GUI to set keybindings for spell/item/macro (2.1.6)

Change Log:
--------------------
Version 2.1.6
- Added support for maximum 31 mouse buttons.
(for World of Warcraft Gaming Mouse)

Version 2.1.5
- Switching profile is now much faster when both profiles have same keybindings.
- Now allows bindings to left/right mouse button with modifiers.
(Control+LeftButton etc.)

Version 2.1.4
- Fixed bug: Couldn't use Bronze Drake because its mount name
is "Bronze Drake Mount" instead of the spell name "Bronze Drake".
- Fixed bug: When you drop two same mount/pet icon on BindPad,
the second one used wrong name and didn't work.

Version 2.1.3
- Fixed bug: When you bind different keys to same spell/item/macro for
different profiles, unused keys were not correctly unbinded when
switching profile; which also caused display problem of tooltip.

Version 2.1.2
- You can duplicate any icon on BindPad by shift-click & drag now.
So that you can copy icons from a profile tab to another profile tab.
- Fixed bug: BindPadMacro was not updated correctly on switching profile
when you have BindPadMacro icons with same name on each profile tab.

Version 2.1.1
- Changed behavior of profile tabs; BindPad now remembers which
profile tab was used for each talent spec.
Three profile tabs are now equal each other.
- BindPadMacro edit frame now accepts shift-click on spell or items
to insert as a macro text. (Same as standard macro frame.)

Version 2.1.0
- Added three profile tabs; switching profile will
save & load whole character specific icons and their keybindings.
- First two of the three profile tabs are linked to Dual Spec of
WotLK 3.1.0, and will be automatically switched when you swtich spec.
- The third profile tab is just an extra.
- All character specific icons and keybindings are duplicated at the
first time you use a profile.

Version 2.0.2b
- Fixed: Modifier keys couldn't be used for keybinding of BindPadMacro.

Version 2.0.1
- Correctly support spells which have a pair of brack...
Description:
--------------------
BindPad -- Created by Tageshi

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. WHAT IS "BindPad"?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

BindPad is an addon to make KeyBindings for spells, items, and macros.
You no longer need actionbar slots just to make Key bindings for your macores etc.

BindPad addon provides many icon slots in its frame. You can drag and drop
anything into one of these slots, and click the slot to set KeyBindings.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. HOW TO USE "BindPad"?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

(1) Type /bindpad or /bp to display BindPad frame.
(Also you can find "Toggle BindPad" Keybinding command in standard
KeyBindings frame of Blizzard-UI.)

(2) Open spellbook frame (p), you bag (b), or Macro Panel (/macro).
(Also you can use three mini-icons on BindPad frame to open these windows.)

(3) Drag an spell icon, item icon, or macro icon using left button drag and
drop it onto the BindPad window.
(Maybe you need shift key + left button drag if action bars are locked.)

(4) Now you see the icon placed on BindPad frame. Click it,
and a dialog window "Press a key to bind" will appear.

(5) Type a key to bind. And click 'Close' button.

(6) When you want to remove icons from BindPad frame, simply drag away the icon
and press right click to delete it.

Note that KeyBinding itself will not be unbinded when you delete the icon.
To unbind it, click the icon and click Unbind button on the dialog window.
Also you can simply override Keybindings.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. HOW TO USE TABS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are four tabs on BindPad frame; 'General Slots', '<Chara...

RhadaTip Dps/Hps Tooltip Enhancer (3.0.0)

Change Log:
--------------------

Why should I update from 2.1.5b to 3.0.0?
- Entirely rewritten code makes the addon extremely lightweight. You won't notice a single fps drop when mousehovering items. It will also be at least 35% faster in computing the best gear combination. It will make a workaround to the issue with Autobar possible, so the two mods will finally be able to work together.
- All addon compatibility issues have been worked around, therefore there is no more incompatibility with Autobar or Outfitter.
- The expertise cap is finally in, enabling melee to achieve the same accuracy that only casters could get until now.
- You can now choose a minimum itemLevel value in the Gear Optimizer tab. All items in your bags below this itemLevel will be skipped by the gear optimizer. This means that you can now fire it with fishing poles, mining picks and lvl 70 items in your bags, without having them slowing it down significantly.
- The gear optimizer will properly work if the best solution has 2x of the same One-Handed weapons as the weapons of choice.
- Added all left out Trial of the Crusade Trinkets, Darkmoon Card: Greatness, and Battlemaster Ruination.
- Fixed the Sundial of the Exiled proc chance.
- Fixed the tier9 localized names.
- The gear optimizer will print out the items needed to achieve the best gear possible, in case there is some problem with their auto-equipment (Binds when Equipped items, too many Dragon's Eyes).
- Fixed an offhand evaluation bug.

Description:
--------------------
RhadaTip Dps/Hps Tooltip Enhancer 3.0.0

What does RhadaTip do?

Item V.S. Item comparisons (to know how much dps this new badge item will grant to you, how many dkp you should bid on this newly dropped raid loot, etc).
1.1 Item V.S. Item comes with an auto filling socket mechanism.
1.2 RhadaTip support trinkets comparisons.

Full gear evaluation, and projected full gear value (as the result of swapping the tooltipped item with the currently equipped item).
2.1 This means that the item comparison is always accurate. Limiting the scope of the comparison only to the two items themselves will produce highly inaccurate results (as a consequence of passing the hit cap, breaking a tier set bonus etc).
2.2 Thus, RhadaTip supports the hit cap and tier set bonuses.
One-button-optimizer for the whole gear. Clicking this button, RhadaTip will scan your equipped items plus all the items in your bags, compute which combination will result in the highest gear xPS value, and equip it.
The comparison between items and setups can go n items ahead of your current gear, up to the best in slot configuration if you want, by using the combination of RhadaTip and WoWEquip.
4.1 This is extremely useful. An item that is a small dps gain at the moment, might be a good dps gain (or a dps loss, for that matter) after having changed another item. As an example, an item drops (ie. a new pair of bracers). It is a small dps gain for you at the moment. You are only two emblems away from getting a new pair of legs. Before passing or bidding dkp, you might be int...

MOTDstripper (r4)

About MOTDstripper

MOTDstripper strips the guild and system message of the day from your chat frame, freeing up precious screen real estate and making your chat frame cleaner upon logging in to the game. Messages of the day are only shown if they've changed since your last login.

Usage

At this early stage of development the add-on doesn't have user-configurable options. If MOTDstripper has seen either the current guild message of the day or the current system message of the day (or both), it will strip them from your chat frame. Messages of the day only show up if they've changed since your last login.

Development Progress

The add-on is in its testing phase. At least on my machine it gets the job done. However, while it is unlikely, the add-on may very well melt your computer or show other unwanted behavior. Please do report bugs and suggest improvements at the ticket tracker.

Also, if you can, please review the source code and point out any obvious mistakes I made. For me MOTDstripper is a means of applying what little Lua knowledge I have to a real-world project. I'm fully aware that the source code must have plenty of room for improvement. I'm willing to learn and I'll gladly accept any hints you can provide.

In case of new features please note that I'm not particularly inclined to add unnecessary bloat to the add-on. Features I'm considering are integrating MOTDstripper into the game's add-on options window, pop-up notifications upon changed messages of the day, and being able to review past messages of the day. One thing at a time though, don't hold your breath.

Where to comment, where to file tickets

The add-on is maintained at the MOTDstripper WoWAce home page. You'll find not only stable and beta versions there but also alpha versions. For now please post tickets over there, too, at the ticket tracker. In case the add-on ever needs translation, that'll be over there, too.

Development and behind-the-scenes stuff aside, I prefer wowinterface.com for interacting with players. So please post comments and questions here.

Use the MOTDstripper WoWAce home page for anything deeper than that, like writing a ticket.
