nibProfileLoader (0.0.1)

0.0.1

What does it do?:
nibProfileLoader is an addon to simplify the loading of default settings for users who first load your UI.

To be used with interface packages whose primary method of loading settings is with the "/reflux switch" command.

Quite simply, it replaces the need for users to enter "/reflux switch MyProfileName" with a convenient message box.

It will tell the user that a new character has been detected, and requests whether or not they wish to load the default settings for your UI package. After they have answered once, that character will not be asked again.

Requirements:
Requires the Reflux addon.

Setting up:
There are two variables located at the top of "nibProfileLoader.lua"

InterfaceName = Name to describe your UI
ProfileName = Addon profile name to use with /reflux switch

Possessions (WotLK 3.3) (3.00)

I love this addon and it broke a few patches ago. I decided to clean it up to remove most of the errors. While I was at it I added a feature to filter out items from any guild bank (a checkbox above the search button).

My goal with this update was to make Possessions usable again. I'm not an addon expert so if someone wants to take over maintenance and clean up every feature (specifically the slots filter), feel free to post in the comments forum or provide a link and I'll add the link to this description. Here is the old description for anyone new to Possessions:

Possessions is an AddOn to keep track of all your... possessions.

It will keep track of the items on all your alts (per server), including worn items, items in your inventory, items in your bank and even items in your mailbox (that you've seen).

In the Possessions window you can then filter the list to show items from a certain player or a certain location.

The items are grouped together and the tooltip will show you how many you have of the item at each location.

So, if you want to see if you have any silk cloth anywhere you can just do '/poss silk cloth', and Possessions will show, in its window, all items matching 'silk cloth'. Mouseover that, and you'll see, for example, that you have 10 silk cloth in your bank, 50 silk cloth in your alt's inventory, and 5 silk cloth in your mailbox.

Additionally, Possessions will keep track of items you mail to known alts (so, if you mail an additional 5 silk to your alt, Possessions will know an additional 5 silk is in your alt's inbox, without relogging).

AhmUI (1.0.0)

I don't know how long this will last or how far I'll get, but I've started a new project to customize my UI while using as much of the default stuff as I can... new look, new feel, new features. I'm trying to streamline things -- less graphics, more information. Since it's made by me, for me, you'll notice some quirks.. like the absence of close buttons. I never use them since I have hotkeys to toggle panels and there's always the trusty escape key, so I didn't feel like having them on my UI.

I didn't plan to release this, but a friend asked if he could check it out so I stripped it apart and modularized it. I don't like packing multiple folders into a single addon archive but it was the easiest way to allow people to use some of the modules and not all of them. Of course, there's only one module at the moment, so that's hardly relevant.

Anyhow, without further ado...

AhmUI

Description
Core addon, necessary for the modules, but it seemed like a good place to list features that you can expect in every module.

Features

Models can haz zoom n pan nao? - They sure can, kitteh! Use the scroll wheel on your mouse and your models will zoom in and out like the good kids they are! Right-click them to enter pan mode, where moving your mouse will also move the model. Right-click again to exit. Rotating your models is easier than ever by left-clicking to enter rotate mode! And, with a click of your third mouse button, the model will reset to its default position. Now isn't that cool, Mr. Snuggle Buttkins? (I know, it'd be even cooler if you could drag your mouse instead, but that was buggy -- OnDragStop required a click. Weird huh?)
Scroll bars need arrows? - Well, no, Timmy, they sure don't! In fact, they don't even need bars! Just a marker and a scroll wheel work great.
Close? Cancel? Escape? I'm so confused! - Me too! Some panels have X's in the topright to close them. Some also have actual Close and Cancel buttons in the bottom right. Most any panel can be closed with the escape key.. or the hotkey! There are just way too many options, but not anymore! (Escape key, or hotkey.. that's it. Git off my screen!)

AhmCharacterFrame

Decription
Customizes your CharacterFrame. That is, the panel that contains your character, your pets/companions, your rep, your skills, and your currency.

Features

Combined Title/Name - Gone are the days of having a dropdown box to repeat the information that already displays with your name. If you want to change your title, just click your name to see the list!
Moar Stats Pls - No longer shall you have to constantly change a dropdown in order to see your different stats, they're all listed right on the screen!
Moar Pets - You have 500 pets but you can only see 12 at a time? Well, maybe you should tone down the pet love. But for normal people like me, I can now see all of mine! (Max of 50, subject to change; new rows and paging buttons added as needed)
Popups, what are they good for? Nothing! Now when you select a Reputation, Skill, or form of Currency, their associated controls and information will appear right in the window instead of in some annoyingly placed popup window. Everything still works just like before.
Change Log:
--------------------
1.03
- Clearified the description in the .toc a bit

1.02
- Changed the hotkeyfont

1.0
- Release version

Description:
--------------------
What is this?
This is a font changer. No in-game options, it simply changes to fonts to MY liking! The code is super-simple, and (almost) anybody should be able to modify it to their own liking.

Didn't Tekkub and tons others already do this?
He made a font changer, yes. I chose to do it another way, where I instead of modifying every single font one by one, divide all in-game fonts into 4 sub-categories, and I only affect the font types, not their sizes or styles.

That means this addon doesn't break or interfere with other addons that add outlines of shadows to the chat.

Qtpicupcake's Bosstalk 3.3 (3.8.5)

by Nevermore/Yvaine/Endeavour of EU Arthas.
update by Qtpiupcake Of US Korgath Horde

Version 3.855 => 25% Done
I try 2 splitt the Database to decrease the Memoryusage...

== Features ==
*Ace3 with FuBar and LibDataBroker (LDB) support
*More than 1500 boss quotes (Ordered by instance and bosses)
*Random quotes
*Quotes via macros
*Quoting on events, e.g. you score a killing blow. (If you pick more than one quote for a specific event, a random quote will be played)
*Creation of custom events (Example: Death Knight on Rise Dead)
*List of your favourite quotes (favourite list)
*Automatic addition of new boss quotes (they add themselves as soon as you hear them)
*Quotes can be dispensed via /say, /yell, /guild, /emote, /raid or /party
*Other bosstalk users are also able to hear the quotes you play (Syncronization)
*Clearly arranged option menu: all options are explained via tool tip.
*If anybody in your guild or Party has a newer version of BossTalk, you'll receive a notice.
*Full text search
*Ignore list for yells / players you don't want to hear.

== Menus ==
*Shortcut: Enter an ID. IDs are found in the Bosstalk menu in front of a quote. The IDs are entered without the #! A macro would look like this: /bosstalk shortcut 80 whereas 80 is the ID of the quote.
*Events: Define events, upon which Bosstalk plays quotes. For example, when your hitpoints are low or somebody requests you to duel. Events are entered in the same way as shortcuts.
*Add custom event: You can create custom events if an event is not listed. Be sure to type in the EXACT spell name. Take care of small and big letters, spaces and so on
*Favourites: A list of your favourite boss quotes. In order to add a quote, shift+left-click a quote in the boss quote menu. Shift+left-click on a quote in the favourites menu to remove it from the list.
*Search: Enter a word or a phrase and BossTalk will output all yells containing that word. You can then right-click the search results for extra options.
*Bossquotes: A complete list of all quotes.
*Options: You can set your personal preferences here (also see "options")
*Credits: Shows a list of people who helped me with the addon.

== Options ==
*Play Sound: Disable this option, if you don't want to hear any sounds.
*Quote to Chat: Disable this option, if you don't want any kind of text output.
*Warnings: Disable this option, if you don't want any advice, which boss you or anybody else has just quoted.
*Memory-economic mode: Enable this function in order to decrease memory usage by more than fifty percent. Then, however, you need to generate the boss menu manually by clicking a button. This doesn't affect neither shortcuts, nor favourites, nor events.
*Blacklist options: Manage your Ignore lists here for people or yells you don't want to hear. Those lists work like your favourite's list and the shortcut menu entry. Player names in chat also provide an extra menu entry if you right-click them.
*Output Options: You can define in which way your texts will be output. (Yell/Say/Guild/Raid/Party / Additional Text output)
*Sync Options:
**Receive Sync: Disable this option, if you don't want to hear the sound of other people's boss quotes.
**Receive Event Sync: Disable this option, if you don't want to hear the sound of other people's boss quotes which were triggered by an event.
** Send Sync/Event Sync: Same as above, toggle if you want to send your Quotes to other people.
**Synclist: Shows a list of players in your guild or party/raid, who are also using Bosstalk.

== F.A.Q ==
Read the ingame tooltips, which should explain everything quite well!

*Q: How can I create a macro?
*A: Enter /macro, click "New", choose an icon and enter a name. Enter /bosstalk ID in the description field. Of course you should change "ID" to e.g. 80. Drag the new symbol into your action bars - done!

*Q: How can I add a quote to my favourites?
*A: Open the boss quotes menu and shift+left-click the quote of your choice. Now you can also find in under favourites!

*Q: How can I remove a quote from my favourites list?
*A: Open your favourites and shift+left-click the quote you want to remove.

*Q: How can I add new quotes to an event?
*A: Open the boss quotes menu an look up the ID of your quote (without #!). Then open the event menu, look for the event of your choice and enter the ID. If you enter several IDs under the same event, Bosstalk will randomly play one of the chosen quotes whenever this event occurs.

*Q: How can I remove a quote from the event list?
*A: shift+left-click on it.
BTEX Spunged (V1.0)

Hi all!
Here is my BTEX creation wich I use on my hunters. The image shows you the skin in action using a resolution of 1680/1050. I use Skinner to set the viewport so there is no loss of view when using the skin. BTEX has also a Viewport onboard.

Unzip the package and copy the four .tga files into the BTEX folder under Skins. Ingame type "/btex menu" in the chat to go to the configuration menu.
Choose "<CUSTOM SKIN>..."
Type "spunged" in the "set name" box
Select your settings for size/transparency and click: apply skin.

If it don't fit change the size settings. I used a size of 480 on a resolution of 1680/1050 but may vary.

Have fun!

Vehicle Manager continued (1.1)

Change Log:
--------------------

1.1 - fix to hide the frame when we enter world while mounted
1.0 - complete code rewrite XD
- distinguish between mount and vehicle
- store setting(s)
- toggle of hiding the frame all the time/just in mount
- help text;P
0.1 - initial release = what I have picked up

Description:
--------------------
This is a continuation of http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info12984-VehicleManager.html by Footrot.

Basically this addon allows you to hide the ugly and mostly useless vehicle seat frame when you are mounted on your shiny bike or fluffy mammoth;P

Apart from that, you can bind keys to eject eirther or both of your pasengers with one click! Just lurk for it in the default keybindings frame!

Want to have a macro for kicking ppl from your mount? No problem! Just type either of those:

/eject left
/eject right
/eject both
Guess they are pretty self-explanatory;P
If you wish, you can replace "eject" with "vm" for faster use.

One more thing for those who wish to get rid of seat frame completely (also from other vehicles like in Ulduar, WG, SotA and IoC):
/vm alwayshide
And you're done!
(This time you can replace "vm" with "eject". Pretty pointless, but why not?;P)

Have fun with more space on your screen!

BTW feel free to post ideas/suggestions/bugs in comments.
I will consider them and maybe implement/fix in the near future.

Need The Orb (1)

By Myrilandell of Lothar

NeedTheOrb is an addon that will automatically roll NEED on the Frozen Orb that drops at the end of a heroic 5man instance. You don't even see the roll box pop up for the Frozen Orb.

Yup. That's all. You can stop reading now. Nothing interesting happens down here. Really.
